Dream it and it can happen. Our base camp - Vancouver Islands Wilderness Sea Kayaking Retreat - can be the perfect platform for your family adventure vacation. We are centrally located in this remote coastal setting with quick access a range of west coast adventure options. If you are seeking a diverse and memorable family vacation that offers much more than kayaking, then a custom multi-activity family adventure vacation can be arranged for you to experience all that the area has to offer.

We will work together with other local operators to facilitate and present a truly mixed bag of activities that could include:

• Guided kayak touring
• Birding on remote islets
• Boat-based wildlife viewing (Sea Otters, Sea Lions, and more!)
• Guided First Nations cultural tours & activities
• Guided sportfishing (by motor boat or kayak)

• The beaches at nearby Rugged Point Provincial Park

  Surf kayaking, boogie boarding, body surfing, or surfing
• Boat access to expansive remote beaches and coastal hiking
• Hiking and mountain biking to scenic higher elevation viewpoints

Some of these aren't regular Kyuquot or WCE activities, so costs will need to reflect the added logistics and expense, of, for example having the mountain bikes or surf boards available as requested.  But maybe you already travel with your own surf board and mountain bike?!
